Agape Adoption Agency of Arizona, Inc. is a Christian organization that was founded in 2005 to meet the needs of the community by providing child placement services for:

v      A – Adoptive and foster families who are willing to provide effective parenting through foster care and adoption

v      B – Birth families who may need assistance in overcoming emotional, educational and professional challenges

v      C - Children who require and deserve safe, supportive homes and parents

Our directive is found in the Bible, in the book of James, Chapter 1, Verse 27: Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

In accordance with our name, (“Agape” is translated as “love” in Greek), the Agape staff works in a cooperative spirit that is wholly committed to helping our clients grow and strengthen their families.

Agape Adoption Agency of Arizona, Inc.  is a non-profit 501(c)3 agency which partners with other adoption agencies, educational entities, professional counseling organizations, and community organizations to accomplish its goal of helping families grow and seeing children become a permanent part of stable, loving families.

 

Affiliations

Agape  Adoption Agency of Arizona, Inc. is a Arizona “Safe Haven” agency, which means it is qualified to receive infants from birth parents who feel they are unable to care for them and choose to relinquish them within 72 hours after their birth, in order to place them in adoptive homes.  If you are experiencing a crisis pregnancy or delivery, please contact Agape Program Supervisor Leslie Reprogle or call (480) 272-7994 ext. 181 to find out more about this important community service.

Agape Adoption Agency of Arizona, Inc. partners with the national “It’s My Very Own – Bags of Love” program. It is the agency's goal to distribute a Bag of Love containing toys, toiletries and a hand-made quilt are distributed to every foster child who is placed in an Agape home.

Agape Adoption Agency of Arizona, Inc. has collaborated and received advanced training and grant support from the National Network of Adoption Advocacy Programs, a collaborative partnership dedicated to supporting and enhancing the effectiveness adoption programs and developing programs in diverse cultural communities which utilize the One Church One Child concept.

Agape Adoption Agency of Arizona, Inc. is affiliated with the Arizona State University School of Social Work Field Education Office and provides social work internship opportunities for up and coming professionals.
